She had a minor role in the hit TV series “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” and then starred in the TV series “Wendy and Me” the following year. Michele’s charm and signature long wild hair quickly drew the attention of producers and casting directors, and she made her acting debut the same year she moved to Los Angeles. She took her son along, but after a few good modeling jobs, she decided it was time to return to her first love, acting. Her acting drew the attention of the entire Hollywood community, and she became a well-known actress after starring in films such as El Dorado in 1967, The Wild West in 1965, and Live a Little, Love a Little in 1968. Apart from acting, she also had other interests such as horseback riding and shooting. The Henson family eventually relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado, where her father became the city’s first surgeon and Michele attended Fort Collins High School. Her father, a prominent surgeon, began his career as a wrestling coach at the United States Naval Academy before moving to Rochester, Minnesota, to complete his medical studies. Michele Lee Henson was born in Annapolis, Maryland, USA, on February 26, 1943, to Stanley Williard Henson Jr. She rose to fame with the role of Josephine ‘Joey’ MacDonald in the film “El Dorado” (1967) and went on to star alongside Elvis Presley in the film “Live a Little, Love a Little” (1968). ![]()
